The Opportunity
Jon’s previous website forced the user to wait through a long initial download every time they visited, was difficult to update, and needed a style refresh.
The Process
Despite an honest effort, Jon didn’t like the first design I showed him for his new site. I listened to his concerns, reoriented, and created an entirely new design that he loves. We worked together to make sure he could present his site with total confidence.

All video and image content is added and editable by Jon using a powerful content management system he accesses through a web browser.

Since I am a Cinematographer, my site had some complicated content: video with sound. I needed this technically complicated content to be presented in a very clean and elegant layout.
Kirk came up with a simple but sophisticated approach to my site. I was immediately happy but of course asked him to tweak a few details. He was always willing to show me the adjustments I requested, but I usually asked him to return them to the way they were because he had already included the best solutions in the design.
